A love letter to you.

Dear Reader,
This is me sending you my love and appreciation. When I started writing this blog, I didn't expect it to last this long or have readers, but I was proven wrong. Thank you for inspiring me to write more and to improve.
I know sometimes it can feel like I'm harping on about change, but I promise, I am trying to mix things up this year and keep it interesting. FYI, I am always open to feedback. There are multiple reasons why I started this blog however the core idea was and will always be - to be there for somebody who is lost, hug them a little tighter and comfort them so they feel less lonely, and know that somebody has been through the situation they are in and they have a guide to navigate through it.
I remember one of my friends pointing out how I have everything, then it hit me! I do, but there is madness behind it. Nobody sees the chaos or the mess, and I realized that this picture-perfect image of myself is affecting me too! I was so focused on achieving everything at a young age that I didn't consider if it made me happy or if it was worth fighting for. When life hit me with failures and challenges, I realized that these experiences made me stronger and allowed me to share them with you.

I am only 22, which is still a pretty raw age, and I am not going to hide away from the fact that I am a little too privileged and lucky for the life I have, and what I write is drawn from real events, which is absolutely personal. I cannot promise to change your life, but I can assure you that my blogs will help you change your life. I am not a therapist, a life coach (although, I've kept it as a backup plan hehe), or even a doctor, but you can consider me as your friend, a friend you can rely on for your confusion, the one who gives you tough love when you need it. I hope this blog did it for you. I hope you felt love, comfort, anger, sadness, hatred, grief, liberation, peace, and all other emotions you were too afraid to sit alone with. I hope you felt like a human.
This year, I promise to write out of the box, make mistakes, learn from them, take your suggestions, and start with a clean slate. Here is exactly where I’ll need your help — what should I write next? I would love to hear your topic suggestions for future blog posts. Please send your topic suggestions to officialkhayalipulao@gmail.com and let's figure out 2024 together. Regardless, I will continue to write.
Lastly, I wish you a happy new year, and may 2024 be a year of learning, unlearning, winning, and losing battles. Remember, if you are not winning, then it’s not the end of the story.
Thank you and lots of love! 🫶🏼
